I have been an avid thrifter and collector for decades. I can spend hours scouring flea markets, thrift shops, Goodwill and estate sales and do just that on most weekends. My home is an eclectic mix of my many finds and probably decorated with 80% previously loved furniture, art and decorations. MCM holds a special place in my heart - there's just something about the clean lines of the furniture and the whimsy of the decorative pieces that brings me so much happiness. This is my first foray into online selling, but I'm very excited to share the treasures I find and to be included in this community.
Charming vintage Franciscan Ware creamer in the beloved Desert Rose pattern. It features hand-decorated pink roses, green leaves and sculpted brown branch detailing that continues into the handle. The warm ivory background and graceful curved spout give this classic piece plenty of cottage and vintage appeal.
The backstamp reads “Franciscan Ware – Made in California U.S.A. – Hand Decorated – Gladding, McBean & Co.,” identifying it as an earlier American-made piece. Based on the backstamp, it likely dates from the late 1940s to early 1950s.
A lovely addition to a Desert Rose collection or a pretty standalone pitcher for serving cream, displaying flowers or adding vintage charm to a shelf.
Vintage condition with light signs of age and use. No obvious chips or cracks are visible in the photographs; please confirm whether any crazing or staining is present before listing.
