A wonderfully unusual antique French Limoges porcelain miniature set, featuring two matching decorative teapot-form miniatures displayed on their coordinating rectangular tray.
The porcelain was produced by T&V (Tressemann & Vogt) of Limoges, France and decorated in the United States by the renowned Stouffer decorating studio. The underside bears both the T&V Limoges France mark and the red “Hand Stouffer Painted” mark. Comparable documented T&V/Stouffer pieces using this Stouffer mark are dated to approximately 1906–1914.
The pieces feature a festive red berry and green holly motif against white porcelain with delicate gold accents. The tray also has a faint ornate monogram/initial in the center, adding to the set’s character and history.
Each miniature teapot is approximately 2.25 in tall, and the tray measures approximately 4.5 in wide. The teapot forms are decorative hollow porcelain with intentionally open bases; they are not functional teapots or salt-and-pepper shakers.
Lovely antique condition with age-related wear to the gilding and decoration. Please review photos closely for condition.
