I have been an avid thrifter and collector for decades. I can spend hours scouring flea markets, thrift shops, Goodwill and estate sales and do just that on most weekends. My home is an eclectic mix of my many finds and probably decorated with 80% previously loved furniture, art and decorations. MCM holds a special place in my heart - there's just something about the clean lines of the furniture and the whimsy of the decorative pieces that brings me so much happiness. This is my first foray into online selling, but I'm very excited to share the treasures I find and to be included in this community.
A striking vintage California Originals art pottery vase featuring a sculptural fan-shaped form with raised scrollwork and a dramatic flared opening. The glossy glaze blends soft aqua green, taupe and warm brown, creating a beautifully mottled finish with subtle iridescent highlights.
The vase measures 7” tall x 6” wide at top, base measures 4” x 4” and opening is 5” x 1.5”
The original foil label is no longer present, but this form and glaze match documented California Originals examples. The underside is unmarked and shows normal shelf wear consistent with age. There are no chips or cracks
