I have been an avid thrifter and collector for decades. I can spend hours scouring flea markets, thrift shops, Goodwill and estate sales and do just that on most weekends. My home is an eclectic mix of my many finds and probably decorated with 80% previously loved furniture, art and decorations. MCM holds a special place in my heart - there's just something about the clean lines of the furniture and the whimsy of the decorative pieces that brings me so much happiness. This is my first foray into online selling, but I'm very excited to share the treasures I find and to be included in this community.
Charming vintage hammered aluminum covered casserole or serving bowl featuring an embossed bouquet of tulips on the domed lid. A sculptural tulip-bud finial, scalloped edges, decorative floral side handles, and additional floral appliqués give this piece wonderful mid-century character. The design is often associated with Rodney Kent hammered aluminum, but because no maker’s mark is visible, it is being listed as unbranded.
