I have been an avid thrifter and collector for decades. I can spend hours scouring flea markets, thrift shops, Goodwill and estate sales and do just that on most weekends. My home is an eclectic mix of my many finds and probably decorated with 80% previously loved furniture, art and decorations. MCM holds a special place in my heart - there's just something about the clean lines of the furniture and the whimsy of the decorative pieces that brings me so much happiness. This is my first foray into online selling, but I'm very excited to share the treasures I find and to be included in this community.
Beautiful antique Rosenthal R.C. Monbijou porcelain cabinet plate, made in Bavaria around the turn of the 20th century. The plate features a romantic pink-and-white floral arrangement, ornate rust-gold scrollwork, a soft pink border, and a dramatically scalloped rim accented with gold. The floral decoration bears an artist’s signature.
Marked R.C. Monbijou Bavaria on the reverse. Antique condition with noticeable wear to the gold trim and decoration, surface marks, and age-related discoloration or fading in the center. No chips or cracks are visible in the photographs. Display stand is not included.
