Beautiful large vintage crewel work picture featuring a peaceful winding country road over a stone bridge, birch trees with dimensional fluffy tops, lake with islands, purple mountains, puffy clouds, and lots of colorful wildflowers in pink, yellow, orange and blue.

Wonderful stitch variety - satin stitch, long & short, lazy daisy, French knots, and raised fluffy stitching on the tree foliage that really pops in person. See close-ups photos 2-8 for stitch detail.

• Frame: Good vintage condition with light scuffs and age wear consistent with use. No major chips.

• No glass.

This is a true crewel (wool on linen) not needlepoint, much more detailed work.
