Vintage amber glass intaglio left face cameo brooch and pendant gold tone 1.75"

Vintage Amber Glass Intaglio Cameo Brooch - Reverse Carved Classical Lady - Ornate Gold Tone Frame

Lovely vintage glass cameo brooch featuring a reverse carved intaglio of a classical woman.

The amber honey colored glass is carved from the back, so the design shows through the front with beautiful depth. She is facing right, with long flowing wavy hair, a laurel leaf wreath at the forehead, and a dress with a bow at the shoulder. Very detailed carving.

Set in an ornate gold tone filigree frame with an open chain link border and decorative shell / fan motifs at the top, bottom, and sides. The back has a simple pin stem.
