Vtg Hammered Copper Silent Butler Crumb Collector Wood Handle

Vintage Hammered Copper Silent Butler / Table Crumb Collector with Wood Handle

Sweet vintage solid copper table crumb collector, also called a silent butler or table crumber. Used by the hostess to quietly sweep crumbs from the dining table into the pan between courses - no need for a big dustpan!

Hammered copper pan with hinged lid and sturdy turned wood handle with copper rivet construction. Nice warm copper patina with hand-hammered dimpled texture that catches the light.

Measurements:

Overall length approx. 10 1/2" from tip of pan to end of handle. Pan alone is approx. 6 1/2" diameter x 1 3/4" deep. Handle is approx. 3 1/2" - 4" long. Please see ruler photos for exact scale - I show 6"-10" for handle and 4"-7" for pan.

Condition:

Good vintage condition. Hinge works perfectly - lid flips up and stays closed. Copper has lovely natural patina with some darker spots and age speckling inside the pan, typical of use - see close-ups. Not polished, left with original antique finish. Wood handle is solid with light wear. No dents on top, no breaks.

Perfect for:

• Vintage kitchen decor / copper collection display

• Actually using for table crumbs, craft table, desk

• Fall / Thanksgiving table - that copper and wood is so warm!

• Prop styling

Wicker tray and fall leaves in photos are for display only - not included.
