Vintage Kutani Moriage Porcelain Shichifukujin - Lot of 4 Seven Lucky Gods Figurines - Japan
Lovely mid-century Kutani ware lot featuring 4 of the 7 Lucky Gods. Each is hand-painted with colorful raised moriage beadwork and gold accents in the classic Kutani palette of rust red, cobalt, turquoise and green on black.
Includes:
Fukurokuju (Wisdom/Long Life) - tall forehead, black floral robe
Hotei (Happiness/Abundance) - holding fan, treasure sack on back
Jurojin (Longevity) - white beard, red cap, holding staff
Bishamonten (Warrior/Protection) - armor with blue helmet
Size: Approx. 2 3/4" tall. Small scale, perfect for curio cabinet, altar, or vintage shelf display.
Condition: Good vintage pre-owned condition. Some light wear to gilt and minor loss to raised enamel dots from age/display - see close-up photos. No large chips or repairs noted. Sold as-is as shown.
