I love hunting for treasures and finding bargains. I am very busy with three parents/in laws all in their 80s and the most wonderful six year old grandson with autism. Digging for vintage treasures is a little "me time" and I'm looking forward to sharing them with everyone through Secondhand Squad.
Beautiful vintage Betson hand-painted porcelain fruit plate, featuring a colorful still-life design of strawberries, apple and peach surrounded by an intricate pierced leaf border.
The openwork border is especially pretty, with individually formed leaves accented with delicate painted veining. Gold detailing along the leaves and scalloped outer rim gives the piece an elegant mid-century look. The back is marked in red “HANDPAINTED BETSON.”
A lovely piece for displaying in a china cabinet, on a plate wall, shelf or hutch. It would also fit beautifully into vintage cottage, traditional, grandmillennial or fruit-themed kitchen décor.

Condition: Good vintage condition with no obvious chips, cracks or repairs noted. There is noticeable wear/loss to the gold decoration around the outer rim, consistent with age and use. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description and show the condition and gold wear.
