I love hunting for treasures and finding bargains. I am very busy with three parents/in laws all in their 80s and the most wonderful six year old grandson with autism. Digging for vintage treasures is a little "me time" and I'm looking forward to sharing them with everyone through Secondhand Squad.
Beautiful vintage Anchor Hocking Fairfield footed sherbet/dessert dish in the striking Laser Blue color.
Produced during the 1970s, the Fairfield pattern features a wonderfully sculptural design with a scalloped, flower-like rim, raised petal-shaped panels and a short pedestal base. The brilliant turquoise-blue glass catches the light beautifully and ranges from bright aqua to deep sapphire blue depending on the lighting.
At approximately 4 inches tall, this is the smaller individual-sized Fairfield piece traditionally used as a sherbet, fruit or dessert cup. Today it would also make a beautiful small candy dish, trinket bowl, jewelry holder or colorful accent piece.
A wonderful addition to a collection of Anchor Hocking, vintage colored glass or retro 1970s kitchenware.
