These charming vessels were frequently utilized as centerpieces, candy dishes, or seasonal decorations during holidays.
Westmoreland Glass Company, established in Grapeville, Pennsylvania, in 1889, became renowned for producing exceptionally detailed milk glass items. The paneled grape motif was among their most successful and enduring patterns, utilizing complex multi-part metal molds to achieve sharp exterior reliefs. Production of these classic decorative pieces extended well into the mid-20th century, cementing their legacy in American pressed glass history.
