Vintage Copper & Brass Fireplace Long Match Holder - Coal Scuttle Bucket with Swing Handle - 8" Tall
Charming vintage hearth accessory for long fireplace matches, styled like a miniature copper coal scuttle.
Made of polished copper with two wide brass bands with rivet detail at top and bottom, rolled copper rim, and tall sloped back to hold long wooden matches upright. Swinging brass / steel handle moves up and down - great for hanging by the fireplace.

• Solid copper construction, brass bands
• Sloped "helmet" or "coal hod" shape - tall in back
• Handle is functional, shows vintage patina / wear as shown
• Open inside - clean
• No striker strip on this one - uses regular strike-anywhere or box
• Bottom has some old felt / adhesive residue from display - see photo
Measurements: About 8" high at highest point, 6" at front, about 3 3/4" diameter at base. See photo with ruler for scale.
Condition: Good vintage condition. Copper has light surface scratches and tarnish patina consistent with age. Brass has bright shine. Handle shows darkening and paint wear. No dents or holes. Bottom residue noted. Please see all 6 photos.
