I am a long time scrapbooker and card maker. When I retired early after 32 years in corporate America I started also making crafts. This is a handcrafted segmented wood bowl, likely made from cedar (possibly aromatic cedar) with contrasting light and dark wood blocks. The construction is what woodworkers call a segmented or block-built bowl, rather than being turned from a single piece of wood.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition with light wear consistent with normal use and age. No cracks or structural damage observed. Clean and ready for use.
