Vintage French Brass Incense Burner - Floral Censer with Marque Deposee Rooster Mark Sweet little French brule-parfum / thurible / incense burner! Dome shaped with hinged lid, pierced vent holes, all-over embossed floral pattern, and classic ball finial on top. Identification: • Lid and base both embossed with large flowers and leaves, pierced holes for smoke • Hinged at back with brass barrel hinge - opens fully • Pedestal foot with stepped base • Inside has removable inner cup and a small central spike / hook for cone incense - see photos • Bottom stamped with rooster in shield, MARQUE DEPOSEE, and M monogram - French registered mark • Warm aged brass patina, not lacquered Perfect as an incense burner for cones or charcoal resin, potpourri holder, or just as a boho / Victorian vanity decor piece. How to use: Place incense cone, resin on charcoal, or potpourri inside lower bowl, close hinged dome. Smoke escapes through pierced holes.
