Baker - Boleslawiec Poland
Beautiful Polish stoneware apple shaped covered dish from Boleslawiec, Poland. Hand made and hand painted in a vibrant UNIKAT pattern with cobalt blue pansy flowers, green leaves, coral and orange swirls, black accents and white dot bands. Figural lid has brown stem handle and sculpted green leaf.
Perfect as a single apple baker, sugar bowl, jam or honey pot, trinket box, or kitchen counter display. UNIKAT is the most collectible level of Polish Pottery, hand painted with both sponges and brushes and signed by the artist.
Maker and Marks:
Stamped on bottom with castle mark, HAND MADE IN POLAND, 23 F, 499, BY, UNIKAT, and handwritten artist signature. See last photo for marks. There is some glaze glare on the stamp in photos.
