Plumb Crazy Vintage is run by me, Joan Plumb. I've always loved the thrill of the hunt — the estate sale early mornings, the tucked-away antique malls, the joy of spotting something special that deserves a second life. I collect vintage, antique, and delightfully unique pieces that have character and make me smile. Every piece in the shop is chosen by hand and ready for a new home. I pack with care and ship the first business day after purchase. Your purchase helps fund my local food bank.
Beautiful verdigris dragonfly door knocker in heavy cast iron with blue-green patina finish.
This is the popular cottage / garden style where the dragonfly body is the knocker that lifts and taps against the flower-shaped backplate. Very detailed wings and body, with a pansy / viola flower backplate with leaf.
• Size: Approx 5.5" tall overall, 4.5" wingspan, 2" deep
• Material: Solid cast iron with verdigris faux patina - dark bronze with blue-green highlights
• Function: Fully functional - dragonfly is hinged and knocks, 2 mounting holes in backplate (top flower center and bottom leaf), strike plate included in casting
• Style: Arts & Crafts, cottagecore, garden, boho, dragonfly collector
• Condition: New / excellent unused condition. No chips, cracks or rust. Some variation in patina is intentional from the factory. Works perfectly.
Perfect for front door, garden gate, interior door, or as decorative wall art. Looks great on a natural wood door, white cottage door, or she shed.
