Small Vintage Dark Bamboo Wicker Picnic Basket with Lid - Folding Handles
Sweet little vintage picnic basket in dark stained bamboo and wicker. Perfect small size for a lunch for one, kids picnic, craft storage, sewing notions, jewelry, or as a table display / photo prop.
Sturdy woven wicker with bamboo frame, open-weave sides and top. Hinged lid opens wide and stays open, closes with a small wooden peg latch in front. Two bent bamboo carry handles with metal swivel hardware that fold down flat along the sides so you can set the lid back. Lightweight but solid.
Condition: Good vintage condition. No major breaks. Has normal vintage wear - some scuffs and finish wear to the bamboo, a few dry or slightly chipped weavers on the rim, light dust in the weave, and dark spotting on the handles from age - see close-ups photos 4 and 5.
