Beautiful pair of vintage hand-blown glass taper candlesticks with hand-painted hummingbirds! These are such pretty boho cottage glass - a soft pale aqua blue recycled glass with lots of little bubbles, frosted bands hand-painted with delicate white and ochre hummingbirds in flight, with gold and yellow floral details. Gold bands at top and bottom, and a pretty gold / white leaf garland around the foot. They have that nice chunky, wobbly, hand-made feel - double-bubble stem and rolled top rim. Each one is slightly different because they are hand painted. Look closely at photos - appears signed "Anita Mexico" in gold on the frosted band - classic Mexican folk art / hacienda style. Perfect for a boho tablescape, cottage mantel, or altar. Measurements • Height: approx. 7" to 7 1/4" tall • Base: approx. 3.25" diameter • Top cup: approx. 1.75" - 2" diameter for standard taper • Set of 2 - matching but not identical Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks to glass. Paint is intact with very light wear to gold bands consistent with age and use. Bubbles and slight variations are part of the hand-blown character.
