They were frequently gifted for weddings, anniversaries, and holidays, becoming ubiquitous features of formal dining.
Over the decades, these items were manufactured by numerous silversmiths and giftware companies using base metals electroplated with a thin layer of silver. The classic multi-arm design draws inspiration from traditional Georgian and Victorian silver candelabras but was adapted for mass production.
