Antique RS Suhl Mini Pitcher Blue Ombre Gold - 3.75" Porcelain Creamer Bud Vase - Germany Mold 2009/16 - c.1900-1914

Sweet Antique German Miniature Pitcher - R.S. Suhl, c.1900-1914 I didn't realize this was RS Suhl when I first photographed it! This is a lovely little antique German porcelain mini creamer / bud vase from the famous Schlegelmilch factory in Suhl, Germany. Beautiful soft ombre glaze - deep cobalt blue at the base fading up to creamy ivory, with heavy gold gilt around the wavy spout, down the handle, and around the foot. Swirled melon shape body, about 3.75" tall. Marked on the bottom in the blue glaze with impressed Mold 2009 / 16 and the RS Suhl factory mark. Photo 6 in this listing shows the mark. Fine, lightweight porcelain - you can see a little light through the thin rim - not heavy ironstone. Perfect as a tiny creamer for a coffee bar, as a bud vase for a single daisy or sprig of lavender, or as a toothpick holder. So charming on a windowsill or tiered tray. Measurements: Height: 3 3/4" tall to top of spout Base: approx. 2 1/4" diameter Width with handle: approx. 3" Condition: Good antique condition, over 100 years old. No chips or cracks. Gold trim shows light wear and fading around spout edge, handle, and foot - normal for its age and use. Light glaze crazing and tiny specks. Interior clean. See close-ups. Details: • Maker: R.S.
