Vintage Pukeberg Sweden Heavy Crystal Ice Glass 8-Foot Crown Pedestal Stand - Pillar Candle / Riser - MCM Scandinavian

From Pukeberg Glasbruk in Nybro, Sweden - Kingdom of Glass.

This is the iconic heavy solid crystal Crown / Sunburst pedestal. This is NOT a bowl - it is a solid block pedestal / large pillar candle holder and display riser.

Features 8 thick oval feet in a circle and a flat top with 10 radiating petal / sunflower details around a smooth center perfect for a large pillar candle, tealight, or small art object. The wonderful textured "ice" / frost / bark finish catches and refracts light. Very heavy and substantial for its size.

Flip it over and it displays as an 8-point starburst sculpture - 2 looks in 1 piece. Use as:

• Large pillar candle holder

• Votive / tealight holder

• Pedestal riser for other art glass, plant, or small sculpture

• MCM shelf decor / paperweight

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, no cracks, no repairs. Clear with no cloudiness. Minor light surface wear from age and use, as expected. Natural small bubbles from handmade production.
