Very sturdy, heavy vintage solid brass lamp finial in the classic FLAME URN / TORCH form.
This is the large, heavy cast version - not a light stamped hollow one. It has:
• Flaming torch / flame top with beaded crown
• Shallow urn / oil lamp body with scrolled side handles
• Fluted column pedestal base
• Threaded at bottom with standard 1/4-27 female thread - fits most American lamp harps, finial posts, clocks, and furniture as a decorative top
This one is marked in your notes as Enterprise - this is the type used on Stiffel, Rembrandt, and other heavy brass trophy urn lamps from the mid-century.
Measurements from photos on red cloth:
• Height: approx 3-1/2 inches
• Width: approx 2-1/4 inches at widest
• Weight: very heavy for size - approx 4-6 oz solid brass - [weigh and fill in]
• Thread: 1/4-27F female inside base as shown in bottom photo
Finish is original antique brass with darkened patina, wear, and light tarnish as found. No cracks, no breaks, threads are good. I have not polished it - leaves nice character but will polish bright gold if you want it shiny.
Perfect replacement for a missing Stiffel flame finial, or use as a curtain rod finial, furniture finial, or lamp restoration.
