Vintage Indian brass bud vase with beautiful hand-etched design.
This is the tall slender trumpet / bottle shape with a bulbous bottom. The body has a dark brown / black enamel / lacquer background that is etched through to the brass underneath, revealing an all-over intricate pattern of flowers, leaves, and paisley teardrop motifs. The inside and top rim are the same dark patina.
Great Boho / Mid Century / Bohemian decor - perfect for dried flowers, pampas grass, a single stem, or just as a shelf accent. These were imported from India in the 1970s and were often sold as a pair.
In good vintage condition - no dents, no cracks, no holes. Has natural patina, tarnish, and light wear consistent with age. Interior has dust / oxidation as shown in close-up - could be cleaned if you want it brighter. I left it as-found.
