Plumb Crazy Vintage

@plumbcrazyvintage

Plumb Crazy Vintage is run by me, Joan Plumb. I've always loved the thrill of the hunt — the estate sale early mornings, the tucked-away antique malls, the joy of spotting something special that deserves a second life. I collect vintage, antique, and delightfully unique pieces that have character and make me smile. Every piece in the shop is chosen by hand and ready for a new home. I pack with care and ship the first business day after purchase. Your purchase helps fund my local food bank.

Vtg Cobalt Blue Glass Bead Necklace Single Strand No Clasp Knotted 16" Drop

Eye-catching Vintage Single Strand Cobalt Blue Glass Bead Necklace

Gorgeous continuous strand with no clasp - string is simply knotted at the top as shown in photo 6. This is a SINGLE strand necklace. In photo 1 it is displayed doubled on a bust to show the drop.

Stunning royal / cobalt blue color - translucent when held to light (see close-ups), deeper blue in lower light. Strand features approx. 20-22 large 12mm round glass beads spaced with tiny 2-3mm cobalt seed beads and small faceted beads that catch the light.

Very versatile - long enough to wear long at approx. 16" drop, or doubled for a layered look. Lightweight and comfortable.

Please use all 6 photos for detail and condition. Ruler photos are for scale.

MEASUREMENTS:

• Total strand length (end to end if cut): Approx. 30-32"

• Wearable drop as knotted: Approx. 15-16" - as you noted, drop is slight over 16"

• Large beads: Approx. 11-12mm

• Small seed / faceted beads: Approx. 2-4mm

CONDITION / NOTES:

Good pre-owned vintage condition. No clasp - closure is a simple knot tie at the top. The string / cord shows some age yellowing / discoloration right at the knot (photo 6) and could be restrung in the future if desired, but is currently secure and wearable. No chips or cracks noted on beads, some light surface wear consistent with age. Display bust / props not included.
