Vintage Hathor Sacred Cow Protecting Pharaoh - Egyptian Museum Replica ©2000
Purchased on a trip to Egypt - beautiful replica of the famous statue from the Temple of Hathor at Deir el-Bahari.
Depicts Hathor, goddess of love, motherhood and joy, as a sacred cow wearing the Hathor headdress (sun disc with cow horns) protecting the young pharaoh. The original limestone statue of Hathor nursing Amenhotep II is in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo.

Marked ©2000 on base with artist signature, cartouche with Pharaoh's name and hieroglyphic border on all 4 sides. Heavy cast resin with antique bronze finish, great detail to the face, horns, and robes.
Measures approx. 3.5" H x 4" L x 1.25" W. Weighs about 10 oz - nice solid feel.
