Vintage 1998 Intarsia Wood Pig Wall Hanging - 22" Long - Kit-Built Farmhouse Decor
This charming chubby pig was handmade from a popular 1990s intarsia woodworking pattern kit. The pattern was cut from multiple pieces of pine / cedar, sanded, stained in warm honey and walnut tones, and assembled to create a fun 3-D effect.
Not a factory piece - this was made by a hobby woodworker and signed on the back "Doug Caldart 9/98". These intarsia pig patterns were very popular in the 90s from Judy Gale Roberts and similar pattern books.
Great large scale for kitchen, farmhouse, nursery, or cabin. He has a sweet face with black nostril details, perky ears, and a little curly tail.
