Striking vintage Olfaire serving platter made in Portugal, featuring an elaborate high-relief grapevine design with clusters of grapes, layered leaves, curling vines and integrated open handles.
Finished in a rich, glossy olive green glaze, the deeply molded botanical details give this piece wonderful dimension and make it just as beautiful displayed as it is used for serving. A standout example of Portuguese majolica-style pottery with the lush, nature-inspired look associated with classic European cabbageware and botanical ceramics.
Marked 1574 and Made in Portugal on the underside. Identified as Olfaire pattern/model #1574.

Vintage pre-owned condition. No chips or cracks observed;
CALLOUT: one small flea bite on tip (pictured in last photo).
Beautiful as a serving platter, centerpiece, plate wall, display piece, or addition to a collection of Portuguese majolica, cabbageware or botanical ceramics.
