Vintage Southwestern Double Spout Wedding Vase - Kokopelli Petroglyph Design - Signed JD
Sweet vintage wedding vase in the traditional Navajo wedding form. The double spout represents the bride and groom as two separate lives, joined by the bridged handle to symbolize unity. During a ceremony the couple drinks from either side.
This one is decorated all around in soft airbrushed petroglyph style on a cream and terracotta ground with matte black rim and base. Designs include:
• Large Kokopelli fertility deity with staff
• Buffalo / bison and leaping deer
• Small handprints and gecko / lizard
• Geometric step and sun symbols in rust red

Details:
Hand painted pottery, unglazed matte finish with slightly textured feel. No chips, cracks, or repairs observed. Very clean inside. Bottom is signed in black script and has light sticker residue / shadow where an old price tag was removed, see close-up photos. Please see all 8 photos for exact condition and pattern placement.
