This vintage hammered copper chafing dish food warmer is a charming addition to any kitchen or dining area. With a tinned interior and brass handles, this medium-sized round chafing dish features a classic brass and copper color finish. Standing at 9 inches tall with a depth of 2.75 inches and a width of 8 inches, this chafing dish is both functional and stylish, perfect for keeping food warm and adding a touch of vintage flair to your dining experience. With a hand-hammered copper, tin-lined interior, substantial cast brass handles, three-foot stand with stylized trefoil/leaf feet, separate burner cup, and fitted domed lid this piece appears to be from the mod 20th century (1940’s to 1960’s.). This piece is most likely of European or Middle Eastern manufacture however exact origin is unknown. The burner holder, support arms and legs appear to be one soldered/brazed assembly rather than a removable manufactured burner. Combined with the hand-hammered copper, tinned interior, fairly irregular soldering, brass handles and individually formed trefoil feet, this looks like a small-workshop hand production piece rather than a mass-produced chafing dish.
