Vintage Gold Gilt Picture Frame 14.5x11.5 - Ornate Wheat Leaf - No Glass / Back

Vintage / antique ornate gold gilt picture frame - FRAME ONLY - no glass and no backing.

Beautiful traditional frame with carved detail - raised wheat / laurel leaf garland running around outer edge and a smaller leaf pattern on the inner lip, with small oval medallions in the center of each side and scrolls at corners. Antique gold finish with darker brown antiquing in the carvings.

• Size: Exterior approx 14.5" tall x 11.5" wide x 1" deep. Interior opening approx 12" x 9". Fits 8x10 with mat, or 9x12. Frame face 1.75" wide.

• Material: Wood / composition / plaster gesso over wood - heavy vintage construction

• Finish: Antique gold gilt, matte

• Hanging: Black twisted wire attached to sides with eye screws - wall hanging only. No easel, no glass, no backing included - frame only as found.

• Condition: Good vintage condition for age. Sturdy and solid, corners tight. Shows wear consistent with age - some gold paint wear, small chips, speckling and dark patina in crevices as shown in close-up corner photos. See all photos - this is a used antique frame, not new. Displays beautifully with that aged patina.

Great for gallery wall, vintage art, mirror replacement, or to mat a print. Nice quality mid-century frame, circa 1950s-1970s.
