I love having friends and family over and bringing people together in my home. I also love decorating, and many of my thrifted and estate sale finds become part of the way I make my home feel special and inviting. They’re often great conversation pieces, too. I’m especially drawn to chinoiserie, Lenox, Japanese Imari porcelain, silverplate, brass, and, really, just beautiful old things. I keep the pieces I love most and rehome the rest. ❤️
Intricate pedestal bowl with all-over Art Nouveau floral repoussé and chased work, this piece displays heavy, high-relief detailing that instantly catches the light.
Perfect as a dining table centerpiece, fruit/compote bowl, traditional rose bowl, or a statement decor piece on a mantle or entryway console.
Diameter: 8.5 inches
Style: Art Nouveau / Victorian Ornate Revival / Baltimore Repoussé Style
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful, bright luster. Shows normal, minimal signs of vintage wear/patina that only add to its authentic character. (Please see all photos for details).
Maker: Sheridan Silver Co. This bowl used to have a barcode sticker on the bottom. A search of the barcode number revealed that this is Sheridan Silver Co. piece) I've included the photo I took of the barcode before I accidentally polished it off and a screenshot of the Google search result).
