MA-based collector with French roots and a love of early 20th-century décor. Inspired by New England antiques and a life among flowers and gathered objects, I share glassware, ceramics, and metal pieces with timeless character.
A richly detailed vintage 14-inch Spanish ceramic charger by Cerámicas Sevilla, showcasing the vibrant artistry and centuries-old techniques associated with Andalusian Moorish-inspired pottery. Hand-painted in Sevilla, Spain, this decorative plate features an intricate floral motif in saturated cobalt, sunflower yellow, deep green, and oxblood tones, framed by a scalloped edge and accented with luminous 24k gold detailing. The generous 14” size makes this an exceptional statement piece for wall display, open shelving, or layered tabletop styling. The reverse retains both the original Cerámicas Sevilla backstamp and foil label noting the piece as a hand-crafted limited edition work of art, created using a rediscovered ancient Moorish enameling process. Dimensional raised enamel work and individually fired colors give the surface remarkable depth, texture, and artisan character. No two examples are exactly alike, making each piece a distinctive work of decorative craftsmanship.
