Vintage 1978 Idaho Statehood 1890 Solid Brass Belt Buckle - First Security Corporation Registered Collection BQ-3471
Classic late-70s Heritage Mint style brass buckle commemorating Idaho statehood and First Security Corp's 50th Anniversary (1928-1978).
Features the Great Seal of Idaho - raised brass on black antiqued background:
• Top: IDAHO lettering with rope border
• Center: Shield with mountain/river scene, elk stag head above, motto ESTO PERPETUA (Let It Be Perpetual)
• Flanked by Liberty with scales and a miner with pick/shovel
• Bottom: 1890 - Idaho became the 43rd state July 3, 1890
Measures 3-3/8" x 2-3/8", fits a 1-1/2 inch wide belt - standard western size. 
Back: FIRST SECURITY CORPORATION REGISTERED COLLECTION 1928 1978 BQ-3471 UTAH WYO IDAHO with interlocked map of the three states. Pin and loop intact and sturdy.
Condition: Very good vintage pre-owned. Original patina, not over-polished. Some darkening and light green verdigris on right edge and on low spots of seal (see close-ups) - typical for 45+ year old brass that sat in a drawer. No dents, cracks, or broken hardware.
Perfect for Idaho native, First Security Bank collector, state seal / statehood buckle collection.
