Cozy French bistro vibes! This table lamp is made from a distressed black tin canister stenciled in gold "LA MAISON DU ROI 1869 - NO. 68 CAISSE - MERLOT" — perfect for a wine lover's kitchen, bar cart, or cottage bedroom.
The base has that lovely chippy, timeworn patina (black over warm wood tones showing through), topped with a dark wood-look cap and a standard socket with harp. Comes with its original square tapered shade in a natural kraft color with tiny leaf flecks.
Base: authentic distressed finish with paint rubs, dings, and surface dust from storage (wipes clean). That's the intended French-country look, not damage.
• Shade: solid with no tears, but has a light water stain on one lower corner (see your last close-up photo) and some gentle age toning. Still gives a warm glow.
As is condition due to the water stain.
