Lovely solid cast iron keepsake box made to look like a detailed feather. Heavy, rustic, with a wonderful distressed patina in deep teal-blue over black iron.

Lift the lid and inside the base is cast in raised script: Touch the sky - such a perfect inspirational message for a pilot, flight student, birder, graduate, or anyone who loves to fly.

Details:

• Material: Solid cast iron, heavy - about 1 lb. Not resin.

• Size: Approx. 6" long x 2" wide x 1.25" tall - just right for rings, earrings, paperclips, desk treasures

• Finish: Distressed verdigris / antique black with blue-green highlights, textured feather barbs and quill

• Interior: Shallow oval well with "Touch the sky" motto cast into bottom

Condition:

Good pre-owned vintage condition. Solid with nice aged patina. Some surface rust and wear to paint as expected with cast iron, adds to the rustic charm. Inside clean. Lid sits well. See all photos - you will receive exactly what is pictured.
