Vintage African Style Black & White Batik Bone Coconut & Quill Tribal Necklace - Hook Clasp
Bold graphic vintage tribal necklace from my private collection.
This is a statement piece built in layers:
• Center: Large 1 1/4" batik bone bead in black/brown & white cow print - the focal
• Middle: Alternating black and white coconut / bone disc heishi beads - approx 16-18mm, rustic cut
• Upper: Two clusters of 1.5" long porcupine quill style tube beads / hair pipe beads in natural black & white tips
• Top accents: Two smaller batik bone beads with zigzag carving
• Strand: Small black glass seed beads corded strand
• Clasp: Brass tone S-hook clasp - holds secure, easy to wear
Measures approx. 21" long total from end to end. Central focal bead is about 30mm long x 18mm wide. Disc beads are graduated.
Great boho, festival, tribal, African trade bead look. Goes perfectly with denim, natural linen, or black.
Condition: Good vintage condition. No cracks to batik beads. Coconut discs show natural texture and wear consistent with age. Seed bead strand strong, clasp works well. See all 6 close-up photos.
