Vintage Blue & White Porcelain Toothbrush Holder - Chinoiserie Oval - 5 Hole
Lovely vintage bathroom accessory in classic blue and white, same pattern family as Bombay Company / Blue Onion / Delft.
Details:
Form: Oval ceramic holder with 5 holes on top - 1 large center oval and 4 small round holes for toothbrushes / razors / makeup brushes. Also great as desk pen holder or vanity brush holder.
Size: Approx 5.5" L x 3" W x 4" H - see ruler photos
Pattern: White ground with hand-painted-look cobalt blue floral - large shaded lotus / peony medallion on front and back, smaller floral scroll on sides, vine border top and bottom with double blue line trim
Mark: Original oval gold foil MADE IN CHINA sticker inside bottom - no other porcelain mark
Material: Heavy porcelain, glossy glaze
Condition: Good vintage used condition. No cracks or hairlines. Has light glaze wear / tiny white flea chip on top rim near vine border and a few pin-prick kiln pops inside - see close-up photo 1. Inside shows some water staining from use. Outside colors are vibrant.
