Darling vintage nesting set of 2 woven wicker hen baskets - mama hen and her chick!
Both are lidded baskets - the hen body lifts off to reveal the nest base for storing eggs, trinkets, etc. Made in the 1970s by Shanghai Handicrafts for export. Natural and dyed rattan with painted wooden beaks, red wooden combs and big red button eyes, bamboo tail.
You get:
• Large Hen: Approx 11" tall to top of comb x 9" long x 6.5" wide. Base basket is 8" diameter x 4" deep (photo 4 with ruler)
• Small Hen: Approx 6" tall x 5" long x 4" wide. Base is 3.5-4" diameter x 2" deep (photo 6 with ruler)

• Set of 2, nesting lids
• Colors: natural tan and burgundy brown weave
• Material: woven wicker / rattan, wood beak and tail
• Style: Farmhouse, cottagecore, chicken decor, Easter
• Condition: Very good - sturdy, clean inside, no loose weaves. Comb paint has light scuffs on edges (see close-ups). Eyes intact.
