Vintage 1993 Pewter-Tone Old World Santa Claus Taper Candle Holder - Olson Signed
Charming heavy cast Old World Santa / Father Christmas candle holder in pewter finish.
This is the highly detailed Belsnickel style - long flowing beard and hooded fur-trimmed robe blowing in the wind, holding a tall staff topped with a bow and jingle bell. Wonderful woodland Christmas details:
• Christmas tree with ornament on his back
• Stick hobby horse and hunting horn tucked in his belt
• Sweet little fawn / deer nuzzling his coat
• Tiny bunny rabbit hiding on the back side near the base - full detail front AND back
Solid, heavy cast metal with pewter look and nice vintage patina. The base has a built-in taper holder. Holds a small taper / dinner candle - approx 1/2" opening. Perfect for mantel, holiday table, or vintage Christmas collection.
