Vintage Murano Style Hand Blown Art Glass Bird - Cobalt Blue with Gold Flakes
Gorgeous vintage studio art glass bird / dove figurine. Beautifully made with sommerso technique - solid cobalt blue body heavily encased with shimmering gold and silver aventurine leaf / metal flakes, flowing into clear glass wings and fanned tail that are also infused with gold flakes. Catches the light beautifully.
In the style of Archimede Seguso, Salviati, Barbini - Murano, Italy.
Excellent vintage condition - no chips, cracks, or repairs. Some rough pontil / tool marks on underside of wings/tail from manufacture - normal. Heavy, solid glass.
