Sweet Vintage Lefton Porcelain Egg Trinket Box - Purple Violets
Charming little egg shaped trinket / jewelry box featuring delicate hand-painted violets in shades of purple with yellow centers, green leaves and fine burgundy stems. Double gold band trim around the rim where top and bottom meet.
This is the Lefton #04680 pattern - stamped 04680 on the inside bottom. Made of fine white porcelain with glossy glaze.
Perfect for rings, earrings, small keepsakes, or spring / Easter display. Would be lovely on a vanity or dresser.
Condition: Overall very good vintage. Both pieces fit together nicely. No chips, cracks or crazing. Porcelain is bright and shiny. Some wear / rubbing to the gold trim - very typical for age. Inside bottom has some light brown age spots. Inside top is clean. Flower painting is vibrant with no fading.
