Vintage Hand Carved Wood Duck - Signed Dale Erickson - Original Tag
Beautiful vintage hand carved wildlife duck by Pacific Northwest artist Dale Erickson. This is a solid wood decorative decoy / folk art carving, NOT a woven piece - carved from a single block and finished to a deep luster that shows off the natural grain.
This is a Northern Pintail style duck with long pointed tail, carved head detail, grooved bill and black glass eyes. Each piece is unique due to natural knots and burl in the wood - those are part of the beauty, not flaws.
Signed and numbered on the bottom: Hand incised "Dale Erickson C-057"
Comes with original tag tied with ribbon:
