Vintage Carved Cedar Keepsake Jewelry Box with Floral Bouquet Picture
Charming vintage cedarwood trinket box perfect for jewelry, keepsakes, or dresser display.
Details:
• Solid cedar wood with natural grain, knots and warm patina
• Lid with deeply hand-carved scrollwork border surrounding an oval decoupage print of yellow & coral mums in a vase
• Small brass hinged latch closure with hook - nice old patina
• Classic dovetail / finger joints on all corners and small block feet - see photos
• Hinged lid opens to clean natural wood interior - no mirror, no tray
Condition:
Vintage used condition with light wear consistent with age. Light surface scuffs, minor varnish wear in the carved grooves, and tarnish to brass. Small white paint dot near latch on front edge (pictured). No cracks, lid opens and closes well, hinges tight. No key. Cedar scent is faint from age. A lovely, sturdy cottage-style keepsake box.
