Vtg Blue Lapis Bead Necklace 30" + 3" Carved Coin Pendant Asian 15" Drop

VINTAGE ROYAL BLUE BEADED NECKLACE WITH LARGE CARVED COIN PENDANT - 15" DROP + 3" PENDANT

Stunning vintage long necklace featuring 10mm royal blue beads - looks like blue jade / lapis lazuli / sodalite - each bead hand-knotted on blue cord. Finished with a huge 3-inch carved pendant featuring two Chinese lucky coins with square holes, surrounded by carved leaves and scrolls with openwork cutouts.

This is a real statement piece - photos on the bust show how it looks double-wrapped but it's actually one long single strand with a 15 inch drop to the beads, then the 3 inch pendant hangs below.

Details:

• Drop: 15" from clasp to bottom bead, 18" to bottom of pendant

• Strand length: Approx 30" end to end + pendant

• Beads: 10mm royal blue, polished, some natural variation

• Pendant: 2.75" x 2.5" x 1/4" thick, carved on both sides, blue dyed jadeite style

• Clasp: Beautiful gold filigree oval box clasp - close-up shows textured floral design, back has a small stamp (see photos). I am not a jeweler so please judge from photos - selling as gold-tone costume, may be 14k gold filled

• Knotting: Professionally hand-knotted between every bead

Condition is excellent - no chips on beads, carving is crisp, clasp works perfect, knotting is tight.

Perfect for Asian art collectors, feng shui good luck jewelry, or to add a pop of cobalt to any outfit.
