Lovely Antique Victorian / Edwardian Beaded Drawstring Reticule / Opera Purse
Offered is this wonderful small beaded evening purse from the early 1900s.
Handmade with hundreds of tiny faceted cranberry / fuchsia pink glass beads crocheted onto a mustard gold thread. Gathered top with 6 large brass rings and original long brass chain handle - true chatelaine style. Beaded ball pom at the bottom.
This is the classic flapper era drawstring bag ladies used for coins, dance cards, and lipstick. So collectible!

Condition:
Good antique vintage condition. No major bead loss that I can see - beads are bright and sparkly. Chain has nice aged patina. Crochet is strong. Some light wear to the top edge where rings rub, normal for age. Fresh from an estate - uncleaned. Please see all close-up photos for exact condition - they are part of the description.
