Vintage Pewter & Brass Duck Lidded Trinket Box - Mixed Metal Container
Charming vintage metal duck container - figural lidded box with top that lifts off to reveal storage.
Made of heavy cast pewter / silver-tone metal with hand-applied etched brass feather overlays for wings and tail, brass eye and beak trim. Classic 1960s-70s Hong Kong mixed-metal piece. Unmarked, as most were.
Perfect as a dresser jewelry box, trinket keeper, pill box, desk box, or cabin / hunting lodge decor.
Condition: Good vintage condition with honest age patina. Solid and heavy. Top fits nicely but not tight - lifts right off. Brass overlays show some wear / small losses on one wing tip as shown in photos 3-4. Pewter body has light surface scratches, scuffs, and age spots. Inside has oxidation / dark patina from age - not food safe, for dry trinkets only. See all photos - they are part of description.
Measurements: Approx. 6" long x 3" wide x 4.5" tall - Please measure your exact piece and edit! Your ruler photo shows about 5-6" tall. Weighs approx. 12-14 oz unpacked.
