Vintage White Madonna Planter - Praying Virgin Mary Head Vase - MCM Religious AM-USA 1950s

DESCRIPTION:

Beautiful mid-century white ceramic Madonna planter - serene praying Virgin Mary with rosary and cross.

This is the classic minimalist MCM bust planter that looks so good with a little succulent, air plant, or dried flowers. Glossy bright white glaze, soft closed eyes, flowing veil that wraps into the planter pocket. Front has molded praying hands holding rosary beads with cross detail.

Marked on bottom with incised AM - USA (see photo) - American pottery from the 50s/60s, same mold family as Hull / Haeger / Religious Pottery Co. pieces.

Perfect for a Catholic devotional display, bedside, altar, memorial, or modern minimalist decor. This style is getting harder to find in all-white with no chips.
