Handcrafted in Montana! This is a vintage intarsia (pieced-wood mosaic) duck plaque from David's Wood Works, Missoula MT.
• Made from multiple natural woods – no stain, the colors are the woods themselves: oak, walnut, cherry, maple
• Oval double-layer backing gives it nice depth, about ¾" thick
• Mallard drake in profile, swimming – perfect for cabin, lodge, nursery, or duck hunter decor
• Size: approx. 8" wide x 5.5" tall (see ruler photo)
• Back has sawtooth hanger, original blue "Quality Craftsmanship" sticker intact
Condition: Very good vintage. Finish is bright, joints are tight. Light surface marks on the dark belly wood (pictured close-up) and a couple faint rubs on the edge – nothing distracting. Ready to hang.
