This vase is both functional and decorative. It is a Vintage Hollywood Regency Lusterware Ceramic Vase. You can tell it's Lusterware by the opalescent sheen to the glazing. It's handles are gold in color and shaped like wings. Due to its age, there is some crazing. There is also some loss and wearing of the gold on the handles from cleaning and handling. This vase recalls the era of the early days of Hollywood and the glamour associated with it. The era of Grace Kelly and Marylin Monroe. It stands about 8 3/4 inches tall and is about 4 1/4 inches wide. It is a stunning example of mid century style and elegance. Because of its neutral tones of ivory and gold, it will fit seamlessly with almost any decor.
